Here's a unique holiday event in Vaughan that you won't find anywhere else. The Village at Black Creek's Festive Nights event is the perfect attraction to visit this December.

The Village at Black Creek stays open past its regular closing hours, treating you to a memorable nighttime experience. Go for a stroll down the village streets, popping into historic buildings and homes.

There's a warm and cheery atmosphere created by the characters you'll meet along the way by the glow of old lanterns. Learn about classic holiday traditions through live music and storytelling.

You'll also be treated to a Christmas choir performance and delightful sweet treats. This is one of the top Vaughan Christmas celebrations to visit with friends and family.

Did you know that Vaughan has its own illuminated forest trail? Magical Christmas Forest at the Kortright Centre for Conservation is like stepping into a true winter wonderland.

In terms of holiday events, they host their annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the first Sunday of December.

The Kleinburg Kafe has a little outdoor igloo dome that you can book for your next meal. In addition, the street is lined with decorative wreaths and many buildings are adorned with Christmas lights.

Don't miss stopping for a hot chocolate at Old Firehall Confectionery. It's made with real Belgian chocolate and I must say that it's the best hot chocolate I've ever had. It can be prepared plant-based with oat milk or almond milk.

Continue your walk through the trails surrounding the McMichael Art Gallery. Nature looks so beautiful in the snow! There are several interconnecting trails through the forest and along the Humber River.
