Bruce Trail Hikes

The Bruce Trail is a hiking trail in southern and central Ontario, Canada. I’m in the process of hiking the entire Bruce Trail in Ontario, Canada from top to bottom. That’s around 900km in total distance! The trail follows the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, one of the thirteen UNESCO World Biosphere Reserves in Canada, from Queenston to Tobermory, Ontario. Follow along on my hikes!

My senior citizen hiking group that I lead have done Queenston start of the Bruce Trail to Dewitt Rd. since Covid started. We all drive separately because of Covid so we walk in and then turn around to walk back to the cars. There are usually 4 to 8 of us on our hiking days, so we are spread out a fair bit. Looking at your photos has brought lots of good memories of those same trips you have done. We will probably re-do our previous hikes this year since my group doesn't really want to drive more than about 30 minutes to the trail head.

Thanks for all in information you share, I know how much work is involved.

Yes, it is! We went on a bit of a hiatus with this over the summer as it was too hot for hiking, but now that Fall is upon us, I think we'll try to pick up from where we left off soon!
