Explore Downtown Neighborhoods

Kansas City has many exciting neighborhoods to discover, and many of them are right downtown. The River Market has many restaurants, shops, bars, and even a bustling farmers market on the weekend.
The Crossroads Arts District is home to the largest collection of art galleries in the Midwest. You’ll also find new craft breweries popping up here each week.
While you’re downtown, be sure to stop by Union Station. It’s a gorgeous old train station with dozens of shops inside where you can indulge in some retail therapy. Architecture buffs should also check out the Central Business District for stunning art deco buildings and mid-century design.
Take a Bike Tour
Kansas City has many gardens and parks that are perfect for exploring by bike. Ride from one peaceful space to the next, admiring the views while getting some exercise.
